Chef Michelle Dudash, RD, CD
Michelle Dudash, award winning Registered Dietitian, is nationally recognized as an expert in food and nutrition who entertains and educates people how to eat healthy through mass media, public speaking, work site wellness events, and recipe and menu writing.
With an impressive background of culinary training combined with a high level of energy and passion for healthy living, she has become a sought after chef nutritionist who continues to prove her skill and accessibility during media interviews, presentations, culinary consulting, and cooking demonstrations. A respected authority in her field, Michelle has collaborated on nutrition campaigns for a variety of internationally known health foods, communicating messages with her fun and energetic style.
Her passion for food and nutrition began in Wisconsin growing up alongside her grandmother in the kitchen rolling out pies and baking cookies. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in dietetics, Michelle’s passion for cooking remained. She eventually made the decision to start a culinary career and began her professional training at the Le Cordon Bleu certified Scottsdale Culinary Institute, specializing in both cuisine and pastry. Following, her training continued at the Mobil Five Star, AAA Five Diamond restaurant Mary Elaine’s at The Phoenician. She also cooked as a private chef where guests included English royalty, professional athletes, and movers and shakers.
With her experience, Michelle has educated and entertained audiences on healthy eating strategies, culinary arts, and wellness topics. Her expertise has targeted various groups like ARAMARK, Unilever, Quaker, the Cherry Marketing Institute, Nothing but Noodles restaurants, and Arizona State University. Michelle has appeared on the national FOX News Channel, and is a recognizable face on NBC and ABC Phoenix, and 3TV. She is frequently quoted in national publications like Prevention, Woman's Day, Oxygen, and SELF, and has written articles and recipes for ADA Times and Today's Diet & Nutrition. Organizations like JP Morgan Chase, American Express, TriWest Healthcare Alliance, USAA, and General Dynamics continue to rely on her cutting edge knowledge for consultations, presentations, and work site wellness programs.
Michelle serves on the Executive Committee of the Arizona Dietetic Association and is a member of the American Dietetic Association, the prestigious Les Dames d' Escoffier International, and the International Association of Culinary Professionals. She was awarded Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year for 2008 and was named as part of The Grow Dozen: 12 Alumni who are making a difference in nutrition, by Grow, Wisconsin's magazine for the life sciences.
She resides in Phoenix with her family and enjoys yoga, exercise, and traveling to wherever there is good food.
